Dynaudio - a clever speaker
If there’s one thing that I do the minute I get home it’s put the music on. So I was super excited to hear that Danish designed and engineered Dynaudio has launched it’s latest smart speaker called ‘Music’ – its first wireless multi-room music system that learns taste, home and lifestyle. So the more music I play, the more it learns my favourite songs and can customise playlists according to my mood! Love it and the kids have been dancing around the house like crazy.
Developed with both audiophiles and interior design aficionados in mind, Dynaudio Music is the perfect addition to households seeking wireless speakers that make a statement and provide a premium listening experience when relaxing or entertaining at home. What I love most about this speaker is the unique shape and design - it looks like a sculptural piece of art rather than a speaker.
Challenging the status quo of typical home audio systems, Music’s aesthetic is classically Danish, with a nod to origami and traditional Chinese boat sails. Its modern, unique shape and colour palette will fit seamlessly into the style of any home, workspace or special occasion.
A free nine-month subscription for music streaming service TIDAL comes with all four Dynaudio Music models which can be used via the Music App. All models in the Dynaudio Music family can stream via Wi-Fi, aptX Bluetooth and Apple AirPlay and can access DLNA as a playback device on users’ home networks. Each has USB inputs for iOS audio and charging iOS devices and accept 3.5mm analogue inputs. The Music 5 and Music 7 add digital optical inputs to the mix while the Music 7 also has an HDMI connector with Audio Return Channel to turn it into a soundbar.
Dynaudio Music 7 was recently awarded the Wireless Multi-Room Speaker of the Year over $1,000 at the 2018 Sound+Image Awards. Dynaudio Music is available now online HERE.
