Springing into Summer with SPRINGFREE!

Springing into Summer with SPRINGFREE!

Welcome back to my blog! It's been a little while since my last post in what has been a HUGE year for us. We have built our dream house and have documented the design and build journey with Home Beautiful (watch the series online here). The house is compete now and I can't wait to share all the beautiful design details with you. I thought I would start with my kids favourite thing about their new house - their new Springfree TRAMPOLINE!

When we designed the house we knew outdoor living was so going to be so important, especially for the kids, so we wanted to create a really great alfresco area that connected the indoor spaces to the outside. This has enabled the kids to get the most out of the space and be outside enjoying the outdoors for as much time as possible (and watching less TV!). Part of the key to getting my outdoor spaces to work so brilliantly was to ensure there was something the kids could really enjoy and use day in and day out. When I asked them if they would like a trampoline or cubby house their answer was unanimous - a GIANT trampoline was their only request.

So I set about researching the perfect trampoline. The Springfree trampolines had caught my eye in my local area as their aesthetic appeal was obvious - all black, minimal structures, and neat black mesh netting but it was their safety features that really impressed me. There are no springs and no hard edges meaning the kids can jump and go crazy and stay safe. The frame is positioned under the jumping surface so the surface area is larger and the design remains as minimal as possible. With seriously awesome accessories like the basketball hoop my kids have been having hours of fun on their favourite 'toy'. We chose the medium oval (here) as it fits the yard perfectly, we can slide it into any area of the grass to suit what we're doing, so it's not stuck in the one place which is great. The clever oval shape also means there is lots of room to run up and practice those slam dunks.

With the warmer weather now into full swing there's no better time to get the kids outside enjoying the outdoors. And we couldn't have chosen a better activity for the kids to help them enjoy their new backyard even more. The Springfree trampolines are seriously the BEST investment, now I'm looking forward to sitting back and relaxing with a glass of bubbles while the kids jump like crazy!
