Astroluxe | A new era in cafe design
Introducing Astroluxe. A new cafe tucked away on a quaint strip in Bentleigh East is bringing architecture, design and fabulous food to the quiet suburb and is the prettiest cafe I have ever stepped into.
The quiet suburb of Bentleigh East is fast becoming known for more than it's brick clinkers with the introduction of the seriously stylish cafe Astroluxe. The new cafe is gaining a legion of loyal local fans with it's innovative design and fit out by Melbourne Architects Robson Rak.
The architectural firm designed the cafe's interior around a beautiful pastel palette with a base of warm grey and soft pink, with striking pops of royal blue and black. The attention to detail in the interior design and styling of the cafe is evident in everything from the wool felt tartan fabric on the banquette seating which was imported from Europe and the custom made steel strip lighting and frames dividing the central open kitchen.
It's cool contemporary design is beautiful and provides a serene and relaxing dining experience. The ambiance from the sophisticated colour palette is carried through to the choice of music softly playing the space and the welcoming and friendly staff. It's a refreshing change to the hustle and bustle of the usual loud and busy cafes. The food brings a unique flair to traditional breakfast and lunch staples and doesn't disappoint with a hit of unexpected flavours and presentation worthy of an instagram post. This hidden gem is definitely worth a visit and no doubt you'll be back for more.
Astroluxe, 303 Chesterfield Road, Bentleigh East. Open 7 days, 7am - 4pm. Drool over daily images of their mouthwatering menu on their instagram here.
