Feast Watson | Timber Edit 2016
One of my favourite materials to design with is natural timber, so I was thrilled to be a part of the Feast Watson 'Timber Edit' 2016, where I was tasked with bringing the trend 'Raw and True' to life...
Timber in it's rawest form exudes true beauty and is a timeless staple in the ever changing world of interiors. It's ever present warmth brings a cosy and welcoming ambiance to a sleek and modern interior and adds character to any space. Raw timbers tell the story of their life and age gracefully as each piece has unique character, features and imperfections. The Feast Watson 'Raw and True' theme celebrates this natural beauty of timber and shows us how we can incorporate timbers into both our indoor and outdoor spaces.
Bringing this trend to life was easy with beautiful pieces from Mark Tuckey, Jardan, House of Orange, Pop and Scott, Huset and Halcyon Lake. A touch of Australiana was introduced to compliment the theme with ceramics by Marmouset Found, Studio Twocan and Bridget Bodenham and a limited edition print titled 'The Alchemist' by Carla Fletcher.
