Ceramic vessels, vases and sculptural pieces add the perfect finishing touch to any interior space. Their beautiful forms are like works of art and their ability to make a shelf, nook or little corner feel glamorous, and beautifully styled is captivating.

I'm loving the feel of contemporary 70s style ceramics at the moment, each piece is made by hand and completely unique. Their rich, earthy colour palette works so well pared with contemporary minimal design, and they add further character to interiors with rustic charm. Their individual characteristics mean no two the same, and you'll end up with a very special piece you'll treasure forever.

When I'm designing an interior space and I'm looking for the perfect finishing touches, ceramic vases with fresh in season blooms are my staple piece to create a pretty and unique vignette with loads of character. Cluster them up in odd numbers or have one amazing piece sitting on it's own, then fill them with greenery to bring your space alive.

Here is a little round up of some of my favourite ceramists who's work takes pride of place in my own home...
